Jon & Laurel’s wedding was, hands down, one of the sweetest weddings we’ve ever had the privilege of being a part of. Their love and adoration for each other and for the Lord were absolutely heart-warming and brought about a joy that’s contagious. Not to mention, Laurel chose an Anthropologie-inspired wedding with loads of amazing details that we loved!
Since Laurel & Jon chose a Sunday brunch wedding, they wanted their ceremony to have a church feel. They started out by having the guests stand and sing three gorgeous hymns led by some of their super talented friends that majored in music with Jon. After taking communion together, they invited their families up to the altar where they prayed together while one of their friends sang a song she wrote – it was a beautiful moment.
After the ceremony, guests headed up the path to the reception hall for a coffee bar, donut bar and juice bar to kick off brunch, which was chicken and waffles – YUM!
We can’t help but get a little emotional looking back through their photos and we definitely can’t just pick a few. To see more images from Jon & Laurel’s special day, check out the Portfolio page.
The vendors that rocked this wedding include Elisabeth Carol Photography, Reata Catering, Flowers & Moore, The Brooks at Weatherford and Wangner Weddings.
